Corduroy Morning

Start your day with morning skiing in Stöten

Take the lift up while the rest of the mountain is still asleep and get access to the slope before it opens!

Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 07:30-09:00 you have the opportunity to glide out on freshly groomed slopes and experience that truly magical morning skiing - with perfect corduroy under your feet and fresh mountain air in your lungs.

What is Courduroy skiing?

Corduroy skiing is when you ski on freshly prepared slopes, before anyone else has had time to make their mark.

That grooved surface in the snow, similar to corduroy, provides a soft, smooth and supple surface that almost feels like flying. It's one of the most treasured experiences in the ski world - and something you don't want to miss when you're in Sälen!
