Welcome to Stöten in Sälen's newly built campsite with more pitches than before and a nice and newly built service building! Here you can enjoy the beautiful mountain environment, with amenities such as charging stations for electric cars and free wifi for all our camping guests.

Weekly camping at Stöten in Sälen
Good information for those who are visiting our campsite this winter on a weekly pitch
Electricity and connections
If you have booked a weekly or single-day pitch, electricity is included in the price. Just plug in and you're ready to go. Due to current regulations and the strong ultraviolet radiation in the mountains, you must have an approved cable with you.
The cable shall be labelled A07BB or H07RN-F, or equivalent cable with the following specifications:
- Minimum area 2.5 mm²
- Protective conductor green/yellow
- Neutral conductor light blue
- Length 25 metres
Each location has a numbered electrical outlet that is secured with a 16 amp automatic fuse, where the maximum outlet is 3600W. All sites have a euro connection.
To prevent the electric cable from freezing to the ground (it gets hot when using electricity), hang it on a carrier line behind the trailer. Bring about 15 plastic carrying hooks for this purpose.
Do not store the cable coiled on the cable reel, as there is a risk of the cable "melting" and causing a short circuit.
Facilities
The service centre has toilets, showers and a disabled toilet. Men's and women's saunas are also available with opening hours between 15:00 and 20:00. Drinking water is available in the service building, as well as central washing-up facilities for dishwashing.
For wet clothes we have a laundry room with drying cabinets; please label your garments to make it easier when you collect them. Please note that tents, carpets, reindeer skins etc. may not be dried in the drying cabinets, and dry clothes should be collected immediately. This is not a storage room, but only for drying.
Free wireless internet access is available throughout the campsite, including in the service building. Each caravan pitch has cable TV that can be connected; satellite dishes may only be set up with designated caravan brackets.
Charging points are located next to the service centre, and information on how to use them is provided at check-in.
Rules and safety
- Smoking is prohibited in all buildings due to fire regulations. Please use the ashtrays provided when you smoke.
- Fireworks are absolutely forbidden in the area; violation may result in you having to leave Stöten.
- Fire extinguishers are available both in the service building and in various places around the campsite.
- Dogs are not allowed to run loose on the site; they are walked outside the campsite.
- Unnecessary car driving in the area is not allowed with consideration for our children who enjoy sledging from the snow piles between the carriages.
- Night hours are between 23:00 and 07:00, and no entry is allowed after 23:00.
- Be considerate of your neighbours by keeping noise levels low; speak in lower case, don't have the stereo on too loud and don't bang on doors
- Idling is not allowed in the area, this applies to both cars and scooters.
